Former actor, current copywriter, still great with lines.

Camille is a Chicago-based copywriter who hates writing in the third person.

I grew up in Philly burbs in a family of artists who encouraged me to follow my many creative impulses, and didn’t even get that mad when I got a D in calculus.

After studying Theatre & Art History in Allentown PA and Florence Italy, I moved to Chicago IL, signed with a big four acting agency, and began a career in entertainment. Between acting gigs, I wrote plays, short fiction, and sketch comedy with an all-female troupe. I learned to hate the “lake effect” and love the lake, and dabbled in photography and ceramics while writing and singing for a band that mostly recorded in the shower of a basement apartment.

Eventually, I upgraded on-camera life for behind-the-scenes work. I bring the lessons learned on set into my advertising work— tying in my improv and sketch comedy experience to bring exciting, relatable, outside-the-box, and undeniably human elements to my writing.

Maybe because of this, AI will not replace me, like everyone loves to ask at parties.

A smiling young woman sitting in a wooden director's chair in a kitchen, holding a small black remote control or toy. She wears a black t-shirt featuring cars, dark pants, and Adidas sneakers. A person in jeans and a white t-shirt stands partially visible on the right. The kitchen has wooden cabinets, a white refrigerator, a window with black frames, a beige countertop with a yellow purse, and various bottles near the sink.
A woman with glasses and long blonde hair is smiling and taking a photo with her phone of a person on a monitor, who is wearing a pink robe and posing.

On set for Arrae.
